How’s it looking out there?

Lassen County’s roads, highways, residential areas, and housing need some help. To make sure we can improve your neighborhood, we first need to know how many people live in each area. More people means more funding for Section 8 Housing vouchers and highway planning and construction.

Lassen County’s children need our help.

Lassen County’s school funding is decided based on many factors, but one of the most important is the number of students. Knowing how many students we need to support means more school lunch programs, S-CHIP, foster care programs, and special education grants.

More People Means More Needs.

Lassen County wants to support every resident. To do this, we first need to know how many residents we have! Each person equals countless new youth centers, additional SNAP and Cal Fresh options, Section 8 vouchers, MediCare funding, and more.
